Dear friends of vocal jazz, My latest Album was released in September of 2014. “BITTER SWEET remembering Ann” is a tribute to the great Dutch female jazz vocalist Ann Burton who left us 20 years ago. Ann sang a refined repertoire that mainly existed of beautiful ballads. We have found much pleasure in recording this repertoire.

My dear trio accompanied me in the best possible way for a vocalist like me: Sabin Todorov on the piano, Mary Hehuat on the bass and Eric Ineke on drums. At a certain moment even the magic Rony Verbiest jumped in to add beautiful fills on some of the ballads with his alto saxophone.

I had the honour that this album was mastered by the great Doug Sax, who left us recently in 2015.
